Yay, it’s Income Report time!
I love publishing my income reports, because I always love seeing how it can motivate other bloggers. I mean, Hello Foxy is a blog that aims at helping my fellow girl bosses building their best life, so money is a subject that has to be covered on the blog.
November hasn’t been as great as last month, even though my traffic has increased. It happens sometimes!
But I’m not gonna bite the hand that feeds me; $338 is still a good number for a small and new blog like mine! Hello Foxy is just celebrating its 5 months old today after all.
Why Am I Publishing My Income Report Each Month?
I have always been told, “small blogs can’t make money”. I’m sure you’ve heard that too, it is a common belief among the blogging community that small bloggers shouldn’t expect to make a dime from their blog. Bullshit.
There are tons of ways to make money with your blog from day 1, and having a small blog shouldn’t keep you from using any of them.
In other words, I think publishing my income report is definitely motivating, for me and for you.
I think that seeing small bloggers like me making money from their blog can be a great source of inspiration for others, kinda like a way to tell them not to give up on their goals because this is possible, not matter what people say.
Secondly, this is a good way for me keep track of my process and sort what I did right from what I did wrong that month.
It’s not always easy as a blogger to really know what you’re doing and if you’re doing it right. Writing an income report at the end of the month should make this so much clearer. Numbers don’t lie, right?
